Bottegas on Oboźna is in the centre of Warsaw, yet hidden from the traffic and bustle of the city: a warm, cosy room where you can eat in peace, without hurry.
Bottegas Śródmieście is the original Bottegas: a Neapolitan pizzeria and Italian restaurant at ul. Oboźna 9/104, where Powiśle meets the city centre. Nowy Świat on one side, the University of Warsaw's main campus on the other, Krakowskie Przedmieście and the Royal Route next door. Downhill towards the Vistula are the river boulevards and the Copernicus Science Centre.
We open at 13:00, so this is the place for a late lunch, an afternoon aperitivo and dinner — daily until 22:00, Fridays and Saturdays until 23:00. Teatr Polski is a few minutes away, which makes it an easy pre-theatre dinner: a pizza bakes at 485°C in a little over a minute, so you won't be late for curtain up. For aperitivo there's Crodino, Sanbittèr and our own Garibaldi del Sud.
On the table: contemporary Neapolitan pizza from an 80%-hydration dough matured for 48 hours, with San Marzano DOP tomatoes and mozzarella di bufala campana DOP, plus pasta with a ragù cooked for 4 hours, antipasti and desserts made in house. Every seated guest starts with a piece of hot focaccia. Pizza goes from the oven straight to the table, and a Margherita is 39 zł. Several pizzas are vegetarian, the Vegan Capricciosa is fully vegan, and gluten-free dough is 12 zł extra.
Oboźna is also where most things happen: a bilingual pub quiz with Rozkmina on Wednesdays, live Italian music with Bottegas Canta on Thursdays. And if you'd rather eat at home, we deliver ourselves — order pizza for takeaway or delivery online.
